1. Our Commitment
Egan Rose Consulting LLC is committed to making eganrose.com accessible to the widest possible audience, regardless of ability or technology. The work of governing supply chain risk, regulatory compliance, and human capital well-being begins with making the tools that support that work usable by everyone who needs them.
Accessibility is an ongoing practice rather than a one-time milestone. We design with accessibility in mind from the start, test against recognized standards, and welcome feedback that helps us identify and address barriers.
2. Conformance Standard
We aim to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, Level AA, published by the World Wide Web Consortium (W3C). WCAG explains how to make web content more accessible to people with disabilities, including visual, auditory, motor, cognitive, and other impairments. Conformance to Level AA means that content meets the success criteria associated with both Level A and Level AA.
3. Measures We Take
The eganrose.com website incorporates the following accessibility measures:
- Semantic HTML structure, including landmarks for navigation, main content, and footer;
- A "Skip to main content" link to help keyboard and screen reader users bypass the navigation;
- Visible focus indicators on interactive elements, with sufficient contrast against background colors;
- Descriptive alt text on non-decorative images and meaningful aria-labels on interactive elements;
- Form fields with persistent labels, required-field indicators, and live status messages for submission outcomes;
- Sufficient color contrast for body copy, headings, and interactive elements against the cream and navy palette;
- Scalable typography using relative units, allowing browser-level zoom and text resizing without loss of content;
- Responsive layout that adapts to small viewports without horizontal scrolling on standard mobile widths;
- Keyboard accessibility throughout the website, including for the contact form and skip link.
4. Current Conformance Status
The eganrose.com website is partially conformant with WCAG 2.1 Level AA. "Partially conformant" means that some parts of the content do not yet fully conform to the accessibility standard. We are actively working to address remaining issues, and this statement will be updated as remediation work progresses.
5. Known Limitations
Despite our best efforts, some limitations exist. Known limitations include:
- Some embedded third-party content, such as the scheduling tool linked from the website, may not fully meet WCAG 2.1 Level AA inside the third-party interface. We work with third-party providers to address these issues and to offer accessible alternatives where possible. You can also reach us directly by email or phone using the details below to schedule a conversation.
- Some downloadable documents may not yet be fully optimized for screen readers. We are working to remediate documents over time and will provide accessible versions on request.
- Where new content or features are released, there may be a short window before accessibility review is completed. We treat accessibility issues raised during this window as priority items.
If you encounter a barrier that is not listed here, please let us know using the contact information in Section 8.
6. Compatibility With Assistive Technology
The eganrose.com website is designed to be compatible with recent versions of the following assistive technologies and browsers:
- Recent versions of major screen readers, including NVDA, JAWS, and VoiceOver;
- Browser-based zoom and text resizing;
- Operating-system-level magnification and high-contrast modes;
- Keyboard-only navigation, including standard skip links.
The website is not designed to be compatible with browsers older than the two most recent major versions of supported browsers, or with operating systems that no longer receive security updates.
7. Technical Specifications
Accessibility of the eganrose.com website relies on the following technologies to work with the particular combination of web browser and any assistive technologies or plug-ins installed on your device:
- HTML;
- CSS;
- JavaScript;
- WAI-ARIA, where appropriate.
8. Feedback and Assistance
We welcome your feedback on the accessibility of eganrose.com. If you encounter accessibility barriers or need information in an alternative format, please contact us. We will make every reasonable effort to provide the information you need and to address the barrier you have identified.
